fresh cut grass brings back pick up baseball games with the other neighborhood kids, little league, and football practice when I was a kid. It also remind me of how much I hate to mow grass.

Insecticide reminds me of cotton fields at grandpas' farm.

Idling diesel exhaust. Reminds me of off shore fishing trips on the diesel powered boats.

Nothing like the smell of two stroke at daylight.

The ocean, Cow chit and horse stalls takes me waaaaay back when things were easy and I didn’t have a care in the world .

Bread baking, my mother didn’t bake bread often but when she did the house smelled great

Fried chicken. Before everybody had A/C the house windows were open. You could always tell when one of the neighbors was cooking fried chicken.

Campfires

I was raised on a farm in a big old high ceiling house with an attic fan. At night in the summer, when the fan came on you smelled whatever happened on the farm that day. Fresh cut hay, cows and horses, honeysuckle,...you just never knew. You never get those things in today’s a/c world.

A lot of the things mentioned above like fresh cut grass and of course 2-stroke exhaust (I have one).

A couple of new ones are leather in a boot or saddle shop or even in some feed stores. The smell of just shot shells on a still morning as they're ejected still smoking. Campfires is good up above as mentioned by Scoundrel but I might add burning leaves or burning brush piles.

The smell of our race trailer when I first open it up. We've made tons of great memories in the last few years
