What Transducers will work with a Helix 9 G2 Chirp unit?

I have a Helix 7DI GN2 XNT 9 DI transducer. Will it work on a Helix9 GN2 Chirp unit?

Thanks for the help.

You cannot add Down Imaging to a 2D-only unit by connecting a Down Imaging transducer.

Also the standard 2D frequencies are different. The Helix 7 DI unit uses 200/455 kHz for 2D sonar and the Hleix 9 G2 used 83/200 kHz for 2D sonar.

The standard transducer for the Helix 9 CHIRP SI GPS G2N is the transom XNT 9 20 T.
The trolling motor puck version is XTM 9 20 T.
The shoot-thru version is the XP 9 20 T.

I’m considering purchasing a new Helix Chirp Mega SI GN4. I have heard that people put different transducers other then the stock ones. Is there one that gives clearer/ better imaging. Or does the stock one work well?

Ignore "I have heard".
The unit comes with the BIG KAHUNA, MAC DADDY, TOP DOG transducer, there is no better.

The only thing that makes sense is to add a shoot-thru HW CHIRP in the bilge for a suitable hull, and connect the included SI transducer and shoot-thru to the display with the 9 M SIDB Y cable.

There is a thru-hull version that some Ranger owners put under the transom extension. That's about it for a freshwater setup.
