Hiked there yearly pass from $60 a year to $100. Highland Village and City of Lewisville still $60. Hard to justify paying $100 when $60 is the norm. Will be using the other 2 cities this year. Tower bay may get a little bit more crowded than usual.

After Towerbay changing their system, I will probably not get another pass from them. Unless I can get a card like HV uses. The TB uses an app which works less than half the time. You end up having to call the help person and it is a pain in the rear. HV has the wake boats destroying the ramp non stop. It seems all the ramps near the bridge have a major flaw now. Pick your poison. I will likely use HV now

As nuts as the lakes were last summer, sounds like they are trying to manage the crowds a little.
See you on the lake and have a great day!

One fish Bill nailed it. Thievery plain & simple. Lewisville increased senior residence yearly passes from $12.50 to $25 annually + the aggravating kiosk.

Does Arrowhead have an annual pass? If yes, is it a window sticker or has it also changed to the kiosk system?

Window sticker. Was $60 last year it is $100 this year. For arrowhead, point vista and the other ramp at the end or tuberville rd.

If yes, is it a window sticker or has it also changed to the kiosk system? It’s still only $10 daily so that has not changed. I would get yearly passes each year for 2 different vehicles. They ticket a lot of cars for no pass or receipt.

From my understanding, Lewisville put up the Kiosk at Tower Bay because there so many people and rental companies were abusing the open entry. Originally the city was doing away with a season pass and make it a pay per day only. The parks department was contacted and hopefully they were convinced the new kiosk would keep out some of the outlaw rental companies. Season passes stayed but they had a reasonable price increase. To me it is better than trying to launch at Lake Park. Hopefully we continue to have season pass access to Tower Bay. I launch solo most of the time and the protected ramp and close dock make it much more convenient.

If you are trying to use an iPhone for the barcode that's probably the issue. Because the code shows up more in the middle of the phone screen you can't get the right distance and angle for the reader to see it. Went into the parks department and got a key fob type and it works fine.

Geez guys, $25/year for two separate launching locations and one location (Lake Park) with two sets of great boat ramps and parking lots, walking/bike trails, picnic areas, etc. that's a gimme. And I've never had an issue with the app. Show the bar code, put in your license plate# and cell# and go.

Geez guys, it was 65 bucks for non residents, then you end up having to pay to get in when you get stuck at the broken kiosk. They refused to refund. I have had a pass for 14 years, but I am probably done. HV got completely rid of the rental guy with a sign that read " absolutely no commercial use of boat ramp". Problem fixed without jerking around your stakeholders.
