Probably just found an area or areas with fish on the graph, got positioned with the wind, and drifted accordingly like you would for catfish. We use drift socks to control the drift.. no faster than .7 mph and you’ll be able to keep a 3/4oz bell weight on the bottom. Very easy and can catch limits very quickly. Like the OP said, lots of fish hang out in the flats off the river in 18-25’
