What are some good lakes to camp and fish in SE Oklahoma and SW Arkansas? What are the lakes that we need to avoid? Looking at making a trip in mid March.

Pine Creek is a great choice for bass and crappie, depends on how much rain we get, it can get high.

SW Arkansas there is Dequeen lake , Dierks lake and Millwood. All are good but will depend on weather.

Over in Arkansas, Lake Ouachita is a must fish. Dierks Lake used to be a fantastic crappie lake back in the day, although I haven't fished it in many many years.

Sardis is a beautiful lake with good camping sites.
Has some good fish in it, but it can muddy up quickly after a rain and be blown out for a while after precipitation events.
At it's best visibility, I'd call it moderately stained.
