Not a real productive year fishing. My worst things are minor compared to most. May not be the worst but my daughter shot the hind leg off the buck I put her on. I made the mistake of letting her non hunting husband sit in blind with her. On evening hunt she did get a big boar.

I really think the buck would have more to complain about than you.

If your daughter shot my leg off, I wouldn’t really care to hear you complaining. I mean, it’s my leg.

had to cancel trip to picachos/comedero and a dove hunting trip to argentina but am grateful me nor any of my family or friends has had covid 19........

Diagnosis with terminal illness late 2019
Laid off from job PRE-COVID (Feb 2020) so NO medical benefits, life insurance, etc.
The only man I ever called Daddy died. I was omitted from his obituary.
Lost four of our personal Bloodhound pack this year, one I had to end the suffering myself at home. (Bleu, the melting dog was one we lost) Also lost two fosters at home this year.
LIFELONG friend, literally a 45 year friendship came to an end. Never tell anyone you'll be there and then ghost them, for ANY reason or amount of time. A ligetime of respect can be bruned in a few weeks of being ignored on purpose. You broke your word to me.

I can’t complain about my personal life in 2020, I have stayed healthy along with my family and I’m still employed. I do however feel bad for those that have had bad times due to covid, the economy, or whatever else, it has been a downer of a year for many people for sure. If I had to pick a specific low point, I guess it would be the election, it bothered me more than my paycut did.

Massive problems at "home" that seemed to appear out of nowhere mid year. Exasperated by significant health problems my wife has been suffering through that started around the same time. It's been all consuming since July. I probably made 100K less in 2020 than 2019, haven't had time to worry about that though. Great grandma died at the age of 106. She was doing awesome, then COVID hit her assisted living center. Work has been a train wreck. Fishing was not good for me as a general statement this year. We don't have any family within 1000 miles and haven't been able to travel to see them much because of COVID.

All that said, still on the green side of the grass and I know many of you have had much worse years. Much to be thankful for. I got my self healthy in 2020, lost 40 lbs. My kids are healthy. Kept my job. Starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. I've got high hopes for a better year in 2021.

My issues pale in comparison too many I've read here.

Hope things turn around for all those who suffered loss and illness in 2020.

I will be praying for you. Jesus Christ is all you need. Jesus will never leave you. I have accepted Jesus has my Lord and Savior many years ago. He has never left me and as always seen me through my toughest times of my life. Through the Grace of God through Jesus Christ, one of these days I will be going to Heaven. A simple Sinners Prayer is all I said to have the most wonderful friend you can ever have come into your life forever. The prayer is this. "God Forgive Me A sinner. I want to accept Jesus Christ has my Savior. Amen. I will be praying for you!
