Never fished out there before but considering going out there this weekend. Is it just way too packed to enjoy fishing out there?

I went out there on a Tuesday and the lot was full but did not have any problems fishing where I wanted too.

Never fished out there before but considering going out there this weekend. Is it just way too packed to enjoy fishing out there? It won't be that bad today, to cold for many, But if it warms some, it will be packed but you can still fish. It's not THAT small!

What is the water level after big rains? Would the lake be up too high after the rain this week?

It’s the cool thing to do now! All the LAKE FORK guides are hitting “Lake X” right now! Shouldn’t be too bad during the week. Fixed it for you Ronnie. It's funny because Monti used to be Lake X now its been Welsh for the last 2 years. And to the OP, the lake is fishable regardless of the number of boats out there. Now, the parking lot/situation is another story. I personally would only go during the week right now but that's just me.

Parking lot gets full pretty quick. Not so bad during the week. Fishing was good a couple weeks ago. Starting to get a bit tougher with all the pressure

FYI , people are coming from out of state to fish it . Weekend no go , during the week still busy this time of year . You can catch some nice fish though if you know how to fish grass and make adjustments. Let us know how you do.
