What is the overall view on fishing the day after heavy rains?

Ponds, streams or lakes, do the fish bite?

Ponds maybe , the clearer the better

Best catfishing I ever experienced was below a spillway the next few days after lots of rain.

Cold muddy water after a cold rain is typically tough conditions

But if you find the warm clearer water, they can be all stacked up in one place. I’m certain Lconn knows where to go.

I’d fish today, but family just got back in town, so making BBQ and baking cakes with family.

Heading to Falcon in the morning. Not really looking forward to it but tourney season is about to start. Gonna be 34 when we hit the water and that’s just too damn cold.

Too windy for my tracker..I may go bank fish for cats later..

I’m going to take a little paddle out at some point today. Got some brush piles to go check out

Already been. Wind like crazy, caught a 6" bass and that's good enough to start the new year off right. Done deal.

Not telling you anything you likely do not already know but Falcon... those fish HATE cold.
