Need help! Trying to figure out the best hydraulic jack plate for the money for my 17 1/2ā triton aluminum rig with 115 hp Mercury EFI.

Thank you! Do you know if there is a smaller version that might be a little cheaper? Being those are rated for a 300 hp and I only have a 115 hp I was assuming they probably made a smaller one for smaller aluminum boats with smaller engines?

I don't see a "lighter duty" hydraulic plate on Bob's website so I'd give them a call and see it they offer one... Sorry I can't be more helpful... Dan

better check first and make sure that tin can can handle a jackplate.

T-H Marine AHJM4DP Jackplate Microjacker 4" 115hp. 740.00 or so. That is the one I was thinking about to put on mine. Some of them are really heavy and don't want to add a ton of extra weight to the back of the boat.

better check first and make sure that tin can can handle a jackplate. Eh...if Ott DeFoe can stack TWO of them on the back of a BassTracker, Iād think a better built boat would be fine with one of them.
