Ok if you say so.....just trying to help those not aware out that they shut down the park every year, or every year that I can remember since the late 90s, for hunts around this time. So I always checked before driving there just to be safe. Have a safe and happy new year...... check the url I provided in my second post and click the park advisory link before you go

Go to the website and make a day pass. The days it shows to be closed are Jan. 6th , 7th and Jan 8th.. I can make a day pass for Jan. 9th and 10th.. These were the dates originally posted. From 5 p.m. on Jan. 7 until 1 p.m. on Jan. 10, 2021. I did not look during the weekday I was looking at the 9th and 10th. The dates it will be closed are Jan. 5th through the 8th.. Randy posted the right dates...

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Go into the intake and go under the fence. You’ll catch 5 pounder after 5 pounder. Just don’t get caught.

Game warden gave me a special meet and greet while I was spot locked in the shadows of big brown. He had a different opinion. Told me to get beyond the fence in short order.
