cook bacon to almost crisp then dice and add?

I have added it uncooked to my deer that I grind up for several years now, it’s kinda dual purpose in that manner. For regular beef burgers, I bet half cooked and added would be very good.

I put chopped raw bacon in mine on occasion But I don't eat rare or medium burgers.

just cut up the raw bacon real small and mix it in with the ground beef.

The Barley Hiuse in Dallas used to (and may still) mix one pound of ground bacon (raw) into nine pounds of ground beef for their hamburgers. Those were good burgers

If you don't add some fat to deer meat (ground for burgers) it will be almost inedible! food
