We went to our local river on Saturday(12-26-20). To look for some crappie, started off on the muddy part of the river and we were catching white crappie and a few bass.

As we moved up river the water got clearer and we found the black crappie in a laydown the kind that you dream about! We caught a two person limit from that single laydown. They would hit the jig on the fall, jigging on the bottum and even under a bobber. It was one fish after another, a total fishing frenzy!

Crappie weren't being picky about nothing, size of jig nor color. All fish were caught on JIGLYF jigs. A few fish were thrown back and a few were kept.
