Got out and pulled boards again this morning with my 5 yr old fishing partner. Bait was easy in 41 ft. Went straight back to where we fished yesterday in 18 ft and there were still a lot of good fish hanging around. We made 1 drift about half way through and then wife called and we had to cut the trip short. We ended up with several teeners and a couple of 20s. Also caught a few 10 lbrs. Missed our 2 best fish. Time to put some new hooks on!

You make it look too easy! And your son is going to be spoiled... might want to have a "off" day every now and then, just so he understands what the rest of us have to do! LOL!

Thanks guys! We’ve been lucky Ken! I’ve been chasing these Whisker fish practically every week for a big portion of my life and I’ve had my tail handed to me so many times it’s ridiculous amigo! Bluecatn ain’t easy but if you keep putting in the time on the water and you learn that graph it gets a little easier each year. Your welcome to come fish on my boat anytime. Just gotta be willing to put up with my 5 yr old wild ace pirate of a first mate.

I would tell you where we’ve been catching the last 2 days Ed but the big wind change is gonna push those fish I was on off that ledge. Txt me if you go and I will tell you where there are 2 huge groups of gizzards. There were big fish with em when I scanned it on my way back in today.

Jax is living the life. Hopefully I can consistently stay on em by the time my kids are his age! He’s going to really appreciate these times with you when he gets older!

Appreciate the invite and will find a time soon to make it happen! Looking forward to letting your first mate give me some lessons! My boys are 20 and 14, so with them its a different wild side I am putting up with now, LOL. Actually they are both pretty good, I am lucky.

Nothing like getting to learn first hand. Have never pulled boards, so between the graph lessons and boards, it will be a super trip - catching or not. Sure I can find some TX to bring with me too. Always need to have a drink when finished and reflect on what I have learned...
