Canyon Lake can be tough. But I still love getting out there and searching for them.

I was out this past Saturday & caught a mixed bag as well.
Put 1 blue, 1 channel, 1 white and 1 striped in the boat.

Thanks for sharing Parttime. Canyon can be cold..I have had a hard time with the crappie lately also. I was thinking is is because the lake
being low making the brush piles a little shallow.

Thanks for sharing Parttime. Canyon can be cold..I have had a hard time with the crappie lately also. I was thinking is is because the lake
being low making the brush piles a little shallow. Yeah I think that is part of it, also there is way more vegetation in that lake then I recall ever seeing before. Not sure how that would impact the crappie, but I think it may.
