I am about to replace all the batteries in my Skeeter. Just curious what y’all think are the best out there?

Are you looking for Lithium or more traditional like AGM? I have had great success with Deka batteries, but I have a hard time finding them now. I just bought an Odyssey battery, but I haven't owned it long enough to comment. They are available through AutoZone, so they are easy to get even though you have to order them.

Neither of these batteries are cheap. My Deka's have generally made it around 48-52 months before I started to notice them weakening. They never outright failed.

Definitely going with agm’s. Need three trolling batteries and a new cranking battery. The interstates that came in the boat new lasted 3 years so I’m pretty happy with that.

I’d be ecstatic if an interstate lasted longer than a year.

The BEST AGM is the XSPower. The best for the money is probably the Duracell from Sams or Batteries+Bulbs.

I try and take good care of them. I keep hearing good things about the Duracell battery. Probably what I’m going to try.

I have used odyssey, optima, xs power, full river battery, and duracell agm batteries. The duracell are definitely the way I would go. It is hard to beat the price to performance that they provide.

Jason, I just got a new to me boat and replace all batteries. This is what I ended up doing. Note, didn't want to drop the coin on lithium. Starting battery: I wanted something that is dual purpose to handle all the electronics plus have over 850 cca to start at the end of a long day. My choice, X2Power from Batteries Plus and Bulb. Got 10% off by ordering online. Still set me back $400. For the trolling motor, bought 2 Duracell AGM's from Sam's. $400.00 for the two. I'm out $800.00 but don't think I'll have to worry about batteries for a while.

Haven’t looked at that x2 power battery. I’ll check it out. Thanks!
