 LSS 1 & LSS 2 modules interchangeable?

I have a HDS 8 gen 2.. Looking for the black box and all i can find is the LSS 1. Would this work on the LSS 2

You will need the LSS-1 XDCR to LSS-2 module adaptor part#: 000-11040-001 it is quite expensive new and maybe difficult to find.
