I didn’t know you were a bike guy. Cool. Trials riding takes talent!

Dishwasher at an Italian restaurant at 16. Every time I smell spaghetti sauce it takes me back to that sweat shop.

Very, very 1st "job" was cleaning the apartment laundry on Saturdays when I was 9 years old. When I was a junior in HS, I worked as a bag clerk at a grocery store. When I got out of school, I went to work as a laborer at a drywall company. Kept moving.

Be safe,

Selling fresh Tyler roses at the corner of Ann Arbor and Marsalis in Oak Cliff around 1962. Made .10 off each dozen. A good day netted $3-4.

How many strippers were you able to carry on a trailer? That’s an awesome job.

My first job at 15 was working at a TEXACO gas station. I pumped gas, worked the register, gave out Green Stamps and just about everything you could do in the maintenance bays. At 16 I worked at Safeway starting as a bagger, then checker and produce clerk, man $1.65 an hour sure did go a lot farther back then.
