as good of a guy as everyone thinks. He's BETTER! He's also not the best with Humminbird. He's the BESTEST.

So, fishing a tournament Saturday and for some unknown reason by graphs were only showing maps. Tried different things, didn't help. Finished the tournament with no graphs generally. Called Slade yesterday afternoon, didn't hear back. Headed to the ramp by his house and he was there with a client. I knew I was infringing on Slade's time and his client's time, but apologized and asked if, when he was finished, if he would look at my graph before I spent $500 to replace the transducer. They put the client's boat in the water, came over to mine, he jumped on my boat, and in a few minutes fixed my issue and had the graph back to the perfect setting, from when he worked on it previously. I apologized again!

He is the Humminbird whisperer and just a great guy!!!

What was the issue?? I have a helix 9 gn2 DI that will not read the transducer. Switched out transducers and nothing, but it will read thru the network with my Helix 10.

Have you gone into network settings on that unit and selected that ducer for di?
Also do you have the di view on that is under the eye ball, where you hide or show screens or views?

I’ve spent several minutes on the phone with humminbird going thru the settings and still nothing. They wanted $600.00 to sent it back and look at it. To me it worked one day and I shut it off and the next day nothing, it wouldn’t read the transducer.
