I know there have been alot of posts on the Ultrex and problems people have had with them-so if this question has already been asked and answered my apologies.
I've had my 80 lb 45" ultrex for going on three years now and never any issues but the last time I was on the lake (Monday) I sometimes had to press down on the anchor button more than once to get it to engage.
If anybody can steer me in the right direction about what might be going on that would be great. Seemed like I had to press down harder with my foot to get it to engage. By the end of the day it seemed to be working OK again.

hopefully something simple, depending on production date there may be spade connecters underside of pedal going into the switch . try removing and cleaning any such connections.

I e had mine do that certain times if I was real close or under a bridge, where the sat might not be picking up good but other than that I’ve never had it
