You ever watch these guys? I've seen them run like theres no boat lanes on Toledo.

I have run lots of places I shouldn't have in my boats over the years. It's driving a boat, not dodging bullets or running into a burning building. roflmao

I have done that a couple times and it was because I didn't know there were any stumps in there because the water was always higher! OMG bolt

The are studying the lake now and will be prepared , but no matter how good your electronics you will hit something on Palestine. The lake is going to show out forsure , I predict multiple double digit fish ! Still have not gotten over the 12 pounder I lost a few years ago on the that lake.

Lake level has everything to do with how safely they can navigate. A foot makes a huge difference. As I've said before, we won 2 championships in palestine and both times we had fiberglass damage from simply idling into the area. It's not always hitting something on pad. You idle up on 2 stumps in the right position you will 100 percent tear something up to get off

The only thing that stays the same with MLF is that everything changes.

Classic case of trying to discourage everyone from going there....

Jeff,
It is called reading comprehension
Just the opposite of what you are claiming. Once again it is called reading comprehension

I think it will be an interesting Tourney and hopefully they will be back afterwards. Lake can be tough to navigate but there are ways to do it, I know lots that have fished it over 20 years and had very few incidents.
But I will say that it is a lot tougher to navigate than Fork or most any body of water anywhere around. In Feb the fishing should be off the charts as the bass will be staging and feeding up.

Oh it will produce some awesome weights, what everyone is referring to is the wicked stumps that are below normal level, it's nothing like I had ever experienced in my life when I went there for the first time about 5 years ago. The stumps seemed like they were petrified, I kept getting stuck over and over. If the water is clear and a little low it won't be as bad, if it's full and murky, you will see a bunch of pinballs bouncing around.

The live coverage in Flat will be the best if the lake is full. There will be a few major spinouts and possibly some that have to get in the water to get their boats unstuck
