9-2 Army didn’t get a bowl invite but because of power 5 conference tie-ins numerous schools well below .500 will be in a bowl. Kinda like Texas high school football playoffs when a 2-8 team makes it.

They'll put anybody in a bowl game I guess, except Army which is more deserving than a large number of teams invited to bowls this yr.
