Rick and I fished the slip from 12:30 until 2:30 and caught 42 Crappie total. 20 were nice keepers.
Small hand tied jigs with lots of scent fished slow about 14' down.

We caught several dinks, maybe we were too early, we fished sunup to 9:30.

11 keepers between Larry and I this morning with probably twice as many throw backs between 8am and 11. Lots of smalls but every once in a while a slab showed up. Big fish about 12". Tomato seed was the color for us. Every single one I caught was on it. Mostly very light bites. Worth the trip!
