Hey, without divulging too much, did you get that thing for under the $73,995 on the website? What people have to shell out for boats is a mystery. Help us out? Yes it was under msrp but not by much.

The days of $100,000 truck/trailer/boat rigs was so three years ago! Now it takes $200,000 truck/trailer/boat rigs to win the workin man tourneys. Ha. I guess I need to ask for a pay raise. I thought I negotiated the last salary I’d ever have to negotiate prior to retirement.

I guess I'm one of the few that doesn't consider $60k a great deal for a boat to catch little green fish out. But if that is what it takes to make guys feel like they kinda "look like" a pro fisherman, it sorta explains it. People are free to spend their hard earned money as they choose, but please don't try to convince others it's a good deal...lol. Nice stereotyping. I just wanted a brand new boat and don't buy based on what a pro buys. Had I cared I would have bought a FXR since that what the pros run in most cases. Not trying to convince anyone to spend $60,000. I know what I wanted in a new boat. The ZXR came in $10,000-20,000 cheaper than most in same length and equipped the same so I bought it. In today's market that is a good price.

I thought this was a good price on a fully loaded semi-top-of-the-line boat. I was thinking the ZX series was around $20k cheaper. Guess I was wrong. Maybe I’d just have to go all in if I’m gonna ramp up my game. I thought the ZX series was mostly entry level. I know mine has standard equipment that isn’t even an option on similar sized Tritons and Nitros.

I had almost forgot why I haven't posted here in a long time. So much negativity, too many old know it all grumps just itching for something to argue about. It was just a picture of a new boat.

So I'll try to insult the guys that can afford it. Ha, Ha, my comment had nothing to do with how much someone can afford. I just have to shake my head when I read or hear "it's a good deal" when talking about $60k-$70k bass boats. You need to calibrate your "code reader" because I can afford any new bass boat I would like to own. I bought a new truck last year and didn't tell anyone I got a great deal, ($50k-$60k) is not a good deal for a truck. But it doesn't matter because I wanted it and wrote the check. If you buy a new bass boat, that's great, but we don't need to make ourselves feel better about the purchase by saying I got a good deal! Then why add the comment about trying to look like a pro. I know guys that have the money and buy a new boat every year. I bet a couple of them have never seen a bass tournament and probably couldn't name 5 pro's. Some people just like nice things. Then there are guys that think if you buy the latest and greatest it's to look like a pro.
