Looking to get ot cleaned up. Anyone have your motor foot line x or something similar?

I tore the hell out of my Fortrex in a fence at Falcon. Used the hammered finish spray paint and it actually came out really well.

I wonder why one of the manufacturers doesn’t put something like Line-X on their motor especially the saltwater models.i would think they probably have tried it.

After having water intrusion and getting that fixed. i went a step farther and put two coats of the spray on flex seal. Turned out well and has held up good.
Even covered the transducer clamps.. Tape off anything u don't want covered.

Possible but water is about the best coolant available.

I cant think of any reason to touch it up, much less paint it with anything special.

One of the guys I fish with has his Fortrex ‘ducer gorilla taped onto his trolling motor. It’s done for aerodynamics I assume.
