I tore the hell out of my Fortrex in a fence at Falcon. Used the hammered finish spray paint and it actually came out really well.

My Ultrex has big chunks outta it, rusty spots, etc. looks happily used to me.

I wonder why one of the manufacturers doesn’t put something like Line-X on their motor especially the saltwater models.i would think they probably have tried it.

After having water intrusion and getting that fixed. i went a step farther and put two coats of the spray on flex seal. Turned out well and has held up good. Even covered the transducer clamps.. Tape off anything u don't want covered.

I like mine with a little damage on it That’s what I’m talkin’ about!  One of the guys I fish with has his Fortrex ‘ducer gorilla taped onto his trolling motor. It’s done for aerodynamics I assume.
