Three weeks into the Rainbow Trout Stocking Season are in the books. So far it has been pretty good with a lot of trout being caught. Been having good results fishing the day after the stocking at some places. Been also taking the advantage of some warm periods and catching a few sunnies. Gold Super Duper Lures and Berkley Trout Bait-Cheese colored are the baits used. Here are a few of the fish caught by myself, Rick aka Cattyaker, and good buddy Steve. Fishing the Rainbow Trout Trail. It just don't get any better!

Chuck figured to forego a Trout Trail Saturday because of the forecasted rain showers; so I decided to hit the Redear Trail as soon as the sun started to peek through. Well, I found them right where they were on my last trip, only this time there were hungrier and a bit fatter. I caught 18 in Three hours, the smallest at 8" and the largest at 10 1/4 inches. Even in the winter, you just don't know if you don't go, and as Vogey says, "they got to eat sometime".

Side Note: How would compare the quality of fish so far to last year?
