Very nice bones! You may want to try Antron. It is full bodied but does not have all of the flash of the new age chenilles.

The weave tying is cool stuff for sure and thankfully good directions at FAOL!
Depending on the colors you want there is a way to get full body chenille with out it being Ultra Chenille. I have some like that, but just a few colors as it's a different way of ordering.

Let me add though you can do it with just Nylon Danville chenille too. Here are a couple I did years ago. Skip ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/12/full-8388-78335-dsc03178.jpg)

Thanks for the compliments folks. I really like the pink and blue SK and its on my list to do but didn't think it would look right on a plain head. Hopefully in the near future I'll be set up to pain my own. Skip I'll be making an order after the Holidays. As first year grandparents the wife and I went overboard on Christmas for my grandson. Just looking for a supple chenille that doesn't display the winding material in the middle. I have some trilobal antron and nylon and I have to pay close attention when wrapping a plain body with it two toned bodies are all but impossible not to have the core visible. Really wanting to get some decent "electric chicken" jigs done for later in the spring and some white and chartreuse done for now. White and chartreuse has been my go to combo since late October.

When you are ready we can talk a little about all this. I am not sure how your learning the weave tying, but I can give a link to non video great lessons in fly tying showing the different ways to tie weaves. SK looks good, I like so many colors, but the Black and Chartreuse has to be my favorite, especially with a marabou tail. However non weave my favorite color is Chartreuse and Blue, lol! I watched SK's video to do the ones I have already. Had forgotten about the "Granny Weave" used to use that on golden stone nymphs. So many different ways that can produce different effects. Thanks for the link
