Another post (the one about if you are afraid of the internet) got me thinking through the list of places that I have lived. Talking about places where I have lived for over a year. We just passed the 6 year mark in our current home. That is the second longest I have ever lived at one address in my long life. I have lived at 25 different addresses over the years for longer than a year. Lived in 6 different States (Texas twice). And lived in 2 different Countries. Told my wife the last time we moved that this was it. My body is too broken down to move anymore. Yesterday she was talking about getting a smaller place. I don't see that happening for awhile. LOL!

So, are there any other nomadic mobile people out there?

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I stopped counting at 24 places that I've lived. One of the drawbacks of having my parents get divorced when I was young - lots of moving around. Was in three different schools in two different states for sixth grade.

But the number of places that was a year or more was fewer - 14 if memory is correct.

15 for me in my 35 years. Working in construction means where I drive to work is always changing so every couple years I would move closer to whichever project I was on. At one point I moved 6 times in 7 years.
