Took the day off of work to take my daughter fishing but she had a college paper due. I went anyway and glad I did.
Ended up with 26 on the day with 8 keepers.
I think at one time all 4 poles had one on the hook.
I went back to my same cove and fished 6-18 feet and once the wind dies down I went out to 20-25 feet and caught even more.

Shark,

Think I saw you today, anchored just off main lake. 2 of you in the boat? about 2:30 this afternoon.
I went by in a tritoon, had son and wife with me, waved at you. Tried to slow down and not make too big a wake. Lake was nice and calm today.
IF it was you, did you do any good there, or anywhere else today?

I only had about 3 hours to play today. Caught a couple of small eaters, and a couple of nice 6+ hybrids, while drifting for blues... never know. lol

take care
Ken

Hey Ken, yes that was us in the little red tracker.

I didn’t do too bad on Sunday, we caught about 11 total with about 5 eaters. I had bought the wife a new pole and she wanted to try it out.

Any tips on other areas to fish? I keep going back to that same cove and I keep catching some, but depending on the wind, I might need to fish other parts of the lake. That little Tracker doesn’t handle waves very good at all.

Trying to talk the wife into a fishing tritoon!
