If you, your spouse, or your kid has an autoimmune disease or something similar, I don't blame them for being cautious now or being cautious in 3 years from now. How people live their lives is really no concern of mine.

Other than a few people wearing masks, it’s pretty normal in Longview. No one is enforcing the mask here. It’s like we never checked up.

Anyone remember the thalidomide vaccine back in the late 50's that was rushed and caused birth defects before being pulled ?

It wasn’t a vaccine. It was an oral medicine to help with morning sickness. It shows why the FDA is so strict reviewing the research. Turning on your immune system vs taking a drug that helps with nausea are quite a bit different. I was a pharmacist before going back to doc school and thalidomide is a very scary scenario. I agree with you completely and, even though it’s a different type of medicine, we should all remember back to that tragedy

But the "maskers" have that karen mentality and attitude. I was in a waiting area recently that had a good 7 ft, or more between seats and had no mask on. Some karen masker went up to the window and told the receptionist she was waiting outside because I did not have a mask on. Maskers, geesh.
