Just not sure which end of the lake I need to look at Be prepared to lose a lot of tackle. lots of hangups all throughout Granbury. Not too bad if you stick to the underwater river channel, but off that is rough.

Yep. Lots of big timber, but there are quite a few points/flats that are clean enough

You tryin to catch big fish or box fish? If I was after big fish, I would probably focus from DeCordova, down.

Definitely less chance for snags in that area, and the main channel usually holds some nice ones. I love fishing the area from 377 bridge down to Rough Creek, but it is full of snags. I mostly suspend drift in that part.

I don't drift Granbury, but I fish suspended all the time. As mentioned, there are lots of snags throughout the lake. I've done very well on Granbury and came close to a lake record on Christmas day. 36 lbs 14oz blue cat, fishing anchored by the dam. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/01/full-113240-79887-granbury_blue_36lb14oz.jpg)
