I know this is the Texas Fishing Forum but I live 6 miles from the Oklahoma border and have started crappie fishing there as well. I have fished for crappie in Murray, Arbuckle and Waurika and have caught crappie in all of them but would like to get some input for a few more to try. Any info or recommendations would be great. Don't mind the travel-nice scenery and lot of those lakes aren't nearly as crowded either.

Not including Texoma in this-have lots of experience there.

Thanks and look forward to the input!

Eufaula if you want to stay close to Texas. Skiatook lake is ranked in the top 50 crappie lakes in the country by Monster Crappie. I haven't made it up to fish it yet.

My neighbor's parents fished Hugo and Pine in the spring and always did real good. They would go up in April and spend a week or 2. I don't think they fished in winter.
