estimate help on blue cat

guys i need some help....my buddy caught a 48 inch blue cat and no scale.....any educated thoughts on a weight range?

50 lbs give or take. We have caught 3 50s over the last month and they were 46-48.5 inches.

No scale, then measure its girth as well. Weight = (Length x Girth x Girth) / 800. Gives a very close estimate.

Girth x Girth x length. Divided by 800 ! Estimate weight.

At that length at least a pound an inch, 48 lbs.
