The past few years the Winter Time White Bass action on Richland Chambers has been almost non-existent. Not this year as November and now December are proving to be like the "Good Ol' Days" with good catches of quality fish that are beefing up for the Winter and are putting on roe for the Spring Spawn. We're finding fish on the Main Lake Humps and Points in 25'-35' FOW and sometimes as shallow as 15' FOW. It's not quite deadsticking time but almost as the fish are not wanting much movement on the Slab and when we add a Jig Teaser, more of the fish are coming on it. If you can't get them to take the bait, try downsizing the Slab to a small Jigging Spoon. There's not much bird action so you'll need to use the Electronics to locate the fish. You'll most often see small trails of fish hugging the bottom or just individual marks which normally you wouldn't even stop to fish. Stop, try a little thumping and you will likely start catching fish. You have to move a lot as the fish are moving and not in huge schools, but if you stick with it, you'll end up with a box of nice fish. For folks that normally don't fish in the Winter, this is a great opportunity to hire a Guide, learn a few new tricks and catch the largest fish of the year! Adam and I are still mixing it up with a bit of White Bassin' and Catfishing on most trips. (The Winter Catfish bite for Eaters is AWESOME on RC!) Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz and give us a call as our schedule opens up in the Winter and we can often get you on the Lake on short notice! Here's a few Pics from Friday, Saturday and Monday:

Fished Monday and Wednesday with good catches of large Whites and an occasional Hybrid! All fish caught on Main Lake Humps in 25'-35' FOW on RSR Silver Slabs and a Jig Teaser. Fish are hugging the bottom and it's a really soft bite. When in doubt, set the hook! smile Thumping works and it's just about deadsticking time. The midday and early afternoon bite seems to be a bit better than the early AM bite. Adam and I have one boat open this coming Saturday, December 12 and lots of openings the next couple of Weeks. Give us a call even if it's on short notice and we can usually fish on a timeframe that fits your schedule. Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz and call at 469-371-5197. Here's a couple of Pics from this week:
