I’ll be in SPI over Christmas and always spend hours upon hours surf fishing. Has anyone had luck with Goofy Jigs? How about Mr Pompano sand flea jigs?
I have never fished in December. I love jig fishing and would prefer to catch them that way. I’ve gotten flounder on buck tail jigs off of the jetty before but have not seen anyone use a goofy jig.
Thoughts?

Not sure about goofy jigs. I'm sure they will work as long the water clarity is good. If not it'll be hard head city. Dead shrimp threaded on a hook wrap in bait elastic works well for Pomp, drum, whiting and yeah you'll catch some hard heads too. The bait elastic helps.

You get out of it what you put into it!
