Well had decent day on sandlin today caught fish from 3 ft of water to 20 ft water best bite was deep 6xd our biggest was right at 5 but had blast with my son

How many total ? Has the fishing gotten better since dam form Monticello always open ? Any grass on Sandlin ?

Curious if you saw any salvania? Plenty of it growing at monti.

There is some good grass in the backs of some of the creeks. Main Lake Shallows have good stands of Pond Weed with some submerged grass mixed in.

Where is the Salvinia in Monti? It has lots of Hyacinth, but I haven't seen too much of that on Sandlin.

All Hyacynth... Salvinia is much smaller and no flower pods.

well thats good news.. it made fishing the pad stems impossible in many areas and I saw chunks of it floating under big bridge

Sorry so long to get back guys we caught 16 total on main lake points the creeks were not to productive for us so we just ran all the main lake stuff i knew about
