Anybody fishing the kistler zbone ? Looking at picking one up and how do they compare to the loomis NRX rods ?

Everyone uses the NRX as a benchmark. That should tell you which one is better.

I have three or four, I think they are great but I haven’t used an NRX to compare it to. I don’t see how you could get much better.

Everyone uses the NRX as a benchmark. That should tell you which one is better. ....and I thought they used the NRX as a baseline “average”, with room above and below their quality.

My Kistler Z-Bone is one of my most favorite rods. Wouldn't trade it for anything....

I have a Z Bone and the Shimano Adrena is more sensitive and cheaper.

I don’t see a need to be more sensitive than a Z Bone, see no purpose it could serve. I’d just set the hook more when I shouldn’t.  I live close to Kistler and can’t beat their customer service living so close to them. I have had them replace rod tips that I broke or bent right there on the spot or I just buy them and replace them. I think a lot of Trey and he employees quite a few folks here I n magnolia, all great people. Plus, he’s a veteran and his son is serving so he gets my business. No doubt the NRX is an outstanding rod..

Z Bone is over rated. For same money u can have a Megabass Detroyer which is way better and 10x more sensitive
