You guys take your boats out to Tawakoni with a 35+ mph wind out of the North. From Holiday to the 2 mile bridge, I promise you will see how well your boats really perform.

I took my 21’ Xpress bass boat across Tawakoni on a day not quite that bad but close. There was blood in my p for a week. Lesson learned.
It's only a good cast if you catch a fish... Personal Best: 11.62 lbs

They al ride great on slick water! Not a Bass Boat made that won't beat you up in 3 footers.

Several of the guys in the northern swing mentioned if they had a "walleye" boat they could have gone to where their fish were on the days when the wind was more calm. If the Great Lakes or those larger nothern bodies of water continue to be a player in the pro circuits I can see some of them 'borrowing' boats for the specific application. of sourse it has to fit within the box rules of the given circuit.
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason

I believe bassmaster requires you finish the tour with the same model boat you started with, its a cost control thing

You can only beat a boat so hard before it gets damaged.

My set up is a 26' pontoon for bass fishing... Big waves aren't a problem. Wind is a different story lol.

So, we got caught out on Whitney a couple weeks ago at the High School Tourney in some pretty bad waves. Being newer to owning a bass boat (always had pleasure boats) what is the best way to take on those waves and be able to get back to the ramp safely.
