I still caught quite a few, but it was discouraging to see so many follow the lure just to see them turn away at the boat. That’s fishing sometimes. Gotta try to figure out the puzzle! Y’all stay safe and warm!

Reel faster Had the same problem in a really clear lake so i started reeling real fast and started catching

I will pause a bait about 15' or so from the boat if they are following a lot.

Reel faster Had the same problem in a really clear lake so i started reeling real fast and started catching I’ll try it out. It’s nice to see fish where your fishing but can be a bit frustrating seeing them turn off over & over I will pause a bait about 15' or so from the boat if they are following a lot. I’ll try it! Sounds like it should work!
