I have been needing a stock tank dug on my place and finally got it done a couple of weeks ago. My neighbor is a dirt contractor and cut me a pretty good deal digging it. I also have access to his “rock junk piles “. I’ve been putting in loads of big rock, cinder blocks, small rock and an old power line pole I had laying around. Getting it ready for a big rain. It’s going to be an awesome fishing and bird hunting water hole. I’ll also be able to finally run some cattle on my coastal.

Totally AWESOME! A good friend of mine has three stock tanks on his property. He just built the third and has stocked it with Large Mouth Bass, Copper Nose Bluegill, Redear sunfish, and Channel Catfish. His new stock pond is 10 feet deep and he put some huge boulders on the bottom. His other two ponds have some HUGE catfish. thumb

Great idea putting in some cover before the pond fills. Hope you get some good rain.

This one came out 16’ deep and 60 yards across. I’m ready for that 3-4” rain . Going to put the same stuff except no catfish. Probably put in some hybrid bluegill too. Already bought a fish feeder and will be stocking up on perch food. Also want to buy a big sack of live crawfish

I don’t know if they go that far from Abilene. You can give Seth a call at Raydon Inc.
