Got out to Aquilla yesterday. Was 32 degrees at 8:00. Luckily the wind was light. Started close to the ramp as it was kinda foggy. Caught a couple of of a brush pile in 18’ of water. Went to the dam when the fog lifted. Caught about 10 fish off of some brush in 16-20’ of water. Didn’t mark many just suspended like before. Went to a mid lake hump that has a standing tree. Found a few there. These were suspended a few feet from the tree. Fished a couple of other spots and had a limit at around 2:00 when I found a bunch of larger fish suspended in open water. Stopped on them and culled about 6 eleven inch fish. The biggest, 14.75” and 1.82 lbs, Dr. was amongst these. Again it was black and chartreuse with 1/4 oz white jig head. Water was 48 degrees at 8:00 and almost 53 when I left at 3:30. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/12/full-53204-76566-340a4838_6d2f_4049_b327_ce559a203aec.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/12/full-53204-76567-731ecff9_61e0_44ce_98a6_4c46edb682b9.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/12/full-53204-76568-e2fa113a_8775_41f2_8f5f_2713842d330c.jpeg)

Nice haul there Rod! I haven't been out to Aquilla in a minute. We need to meet up and catch a few. I got Livescope too. Wish there was a place to eat near Aquilla, gettin tired of sandwiches!

That is a nice little lake, fished it 2 times and really enjoyed both trips. Can’t wait to go back. Nice fish!
