I tried posting this in the morning but for some reason it didn’t work. I found out yesterday that Ron Lindner, older brother of Al and cocreator of the In-Fisherman died on Monday, November 30. I grew up watching those guys in the 80s and 90s when I lived in Wyoming. I subscribed to the magazine and read everything I could because in those days there was no Internet and the best way to learn was from magazines, books, and TV shows. In honor of Ron I donned my In-Fisherman hat and jacket and went and caught some fish today. 2020 continues to suck eggs.

Ron Londoner was a giant in the fishing community and in the fishing industry! He and his family have taught me so much over the years and help my love and knowledge of this great sport and lifestyle flourish! He will definitely be missed! The angels have one of the best guides ever up there to put them on the fish now!

The book about their family business successes and struggles is a good read. I read it many years ago and can't think of the name right now. Good folks that have done a lot for the industry. God bless those families with their greiving.

Ron pretty much is THE definition of the American success story. Went to Korea, came back and had struggles with $$ and alcohol. Cleaned himself up, struck up a brilliant business idea with his brother, worked long and hard to make it a success, sold it for huge $$ in 1998 and retired to enjoy time with his family, go fishing, and live life. Hard to top that!
