Gonna try to head out there Tues and Wed. Any decent places "boater friendly" around there?

Oak Thicket has some very nice cabins. Not talking about screened in.
See pictures of the cabins here:

According to Hoteles.com, there are more hotels in La Grange than I knew about. I have stayed at Best Western in the distant past.

https://www.hotels.com/search.do?resolved-location=CITY%3A1639512%3AUNKNOWN%3AUNKNOWN&destination-id=1639512&q-destination=La%20Grange,%20Texas,%20United%20States%20of%20America&q-check-in=2020-12-08&q-check-out=2020-12-09&q-rooms=1&q-room-0-adults=2&q-room-0-children=0&f-hotel-id=214291
