Gonna try to head out there Tues and Wed. Any decent places "boater friendly" around there?

Why dont you try to stay there? If not there is a Best Western in Lagrange. Several places in LaGrange you can stay at. Or at the lake.

RV pads and screened in cabins. Electric, water. These are at Oak Thicket Park.

According to Hoteles.com, there are more hotels in La Grange than I knew about. I have stayed at Best Western in the distant past.
