This was from a paper called The Fisherman's Eye that I found in a drawer the other day. This next picture shows Jimmy Kimbell who holds the lake record and held the state record for awhile and the legend Bob Garcia.

Hard to believe Jimmy Kimbell's record 14.09 (1980, Monticello) broke an almost 40 y.o. record and doesn't even make Texas Top 50 today. Florida bass=game changer. Bob Garcia, Kimbell, and Ron Peterson are among Monticello legends.

Also hard to believe current record (18.18) is 28+ years old.
