Havent seen a thread on this and if there is, sorry for the repeat.

What do you guys think so far? Just announced today. Personally I need to see more. Actually canceled my Garmin order when I found out this was coming because for us who have the Lives or Carbons dont have to dump 4k.

I want to see more also, but happy to see them include the Carbon platform.

Sorry for the dumb question but I had Lowrance since the spinning dial when I was a kid. I bought a Skeeter CC 21’ and it is set up with Lowrance “HDS 12 and 9”. That’s all it says on the unit’ screen front case. How do you tell what model you have? I turned it on and looked under settings. It said device is an “HSD3-12” if that helps. We were going to replace everything with Garmin but now that Humminbird and Lowrance is coming out, we’ve put it on hold.

Look under the “About” section under menu and it will give you the model and software you are running.

Excited about this. Was real close to adding a Garmin up front with my lowrance, but may not have to now. Still need to see a little more on it though.

Add Garmin, this looks like the old Panoptics which isn't bad, just not Livescope.

Same as Garmin Live Scope- The only difference is cone angles size. Check out the U tube channel just released this morning.
Should be looked at for guys running Lowrance Systems

Looks good for now, won’t be long and Garmin will drop something that will make this look archaic.

You have HDS Gen3 units, and that's the actual name.
The Carbons are actually HDS gen 4, and the Lives are HDS gen 5 but neither use the Gen # nomenclature.

The new Active Target Live will work with Carbons, Lives and the soon to be released Elite FS.

This is exactly like Livescope. Lowrance's Livesight was like Panoptics.

Chris, I'm going to put a Ghost TM on mine with the Active Target for the Carbons. I recently had a Humminbird Mega 360 and a MDI put on up front for just Mega 360. I think it'll be perfect that way!

No. Talked to my Lowrance rep today. They did not make it to where the Ti2 and FS would sync
