Did the man suffer and deal with bad pain for a long time before he passed? If so, do you think that is what the lord would wish? Don't get me wrong, I'm a believer, but it does get confusing to hear this statement so often.. Not counting all the pain and suffering the family has to endure.. Just confusing a little

i don't know if he suffered

Sorry to hear that Butch. My 88 year old Mother in law who is diabetic, has a pacemaker, and various other issues got it 14 days ago. Recovered 100% . its crazy how it effects some people.

We don't know for sure why it affects different people in different ways. There is one school of thought that says the initial amount of viral load that you get contributes to the severity.

There are also studies that are showing that Type A blood and Type AB are more likely to get a case with more severe symptoms.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I certainly understand the confusion. If God is in control, why do good/innocents suffer? This goes back to Adam. God never intended disease and death to be in the world. Man and his free will chose to sin and disease, suffering, and death entered the world. All the negatives we see in the world today are a result of the sin and sin nature of man. Sin has a price and death is it’s name. This world will always see suffering as a result of sin.

Ephesians 4:4-6 KJV

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Sorry to hear about their passing. I have said it before on here that sometimes people wait too long to get help. By the time they realize they are extremely sick it is getting too late. My daughter at 6 months old had RSV which can kill a child in a very short amount of time. My wife came home from a work trip and said she thought our daughter was breathing hard I told her I thought she was crazy. She calls our pediatrician at 10 PM right after she noticed the breathing he listened to my daughter over the phone. He said to go immediately to Texas Children's. We go and they put her on a O2 monitor and we watched as her oxygen levels went from 92 or so down to 80 in the matter of a few hours. A reading of 99 is normal. She spent the next 10 days in the hospital and several years on breathing treatments. If my wife would have come home one more day no telling what would have happened with my daughter. When all of this came down with the pandemic I bought a finger O2 monitor that you can check your own blood oxygen if we would get sick. They are relatively cheap on Amazon. Getting treated early can mean a big difference in the outcome.

Looks like we are on track to a 9/11 mortality every single day. Some hoax huh?

I just lost a cousin to it today. In her 40's and pre-existing conditions. I've also known a handful of people hospitalized from it. All of them the same path. A few days of sickness and high fever, then oxygen levels sink, and they have trouble breathing with confirmed pneumonia. My stepdaughter, who is an ER nurse, and her boyfriend were both hospitalized from it after having trouble to breath. Between her experience and coworker hearsay, and another ICU nurse in the family who's specialty is in respiratory functions, it is not the flu or common cold. Or at least doesn't follow the typical flu or post-flu pneumonia trajectory. I have coworkers and their family members who have had it and some have been negatively affected by it for weeks now. Whatever it is, it is no joke. Yes, we are being lied to and the numbers are still being inflated for control purposes, and the vast majority won't die, but there is something foreign that is really invasive and bad flying around. Lastly, f-u-c-k China and any US/UN politicians/employees that had a hand in this. May they all suffer tragically and burn in the end
