I find it ironic that these two guy's right now have the same exact quarterback rating's. What are the odd's on that!!!

Both will play in NFL, at least one play. This^. I’ve pondered it, and as I see it, it’s either what lconn stated or neither will play. It could also end up where only one plays, which would mean that the other one doesn’t. It’s really all tangled up right now...I gotta go.

They'll ride a lot of pine. Neither has NFL starting QB talent. According to the experts, Tom Brady didn’t have starting talent and was picked towards the end of the draft. According to the experts, JaMarcus Russell had starting talent and was the number 1 overall pick. Example after example exists of college players who were supposed to be locks at the QB position who failed miserably. Likewise, guys who didn’t do Jack in college went on to have success in the NFL. The only thing that’s for sure is that no one is a sure thing.

Tough to say...if NFL scouts think there is enough to work with in Sam's throwing mechanics, I think he will get a sniff. He's got the heart, leadership skills and work ethic to get better and he SEEMS like he would be coachable...really hard to say though since developing talent isn't really something Horns coaching staffs have done lately. Boo....hard call there too. He throws a nice ball and is smart. His leadership/abilty to take charge and lead makes me wonder. During his time at UT, it never really seemed like he had command of the huddle or an ability to fire up his team. Didn't see much of him at SMU, so maybe that changed?
