Better safe than Dead

I watched that whole video.. they are both lucky to be alive. Neither wearing pfd, almost tipped over letting guy on his kayak, left him in shock at truck to retrieve kayak... Would never have risked letting him in my kayak... and tipping me over. Better to have him hold on to stern and pull him to shore, use the floatation, I never stow my paddle... always in my lap to help with balance... geeze. And would not have gone to retrieve kayak until I was sure guy that was wet was ok.. I've seen it happen in cold water several times.

I simply do not know anything about kayaking. I am glad that both anglers made it out and are OK. Hopefully lessons learned.

Good vid but only as the example of what not to do. Vids like this are why I complain about yak fishing vids. Just plain dumb.

I hear ya Christian, but you can often learn more from bad videos than good ones.

I'm glad you both are safe. I'm sure you had good attentions with the video, but watching it was bad. Wearing a PFD should be your main point.

That's a Bonafide. They are a tank and will not flip!

I looked at Bonafides before I decided on a pedal kayak from Old Town. I’m impressed it handled all of that.

Yes this can be true, if you have someone who knows better to tell you the correct way. If you just dont know then you don't know and many will probably assume what they are doing is the right way. Imo, this vid probably hurt more than it helped. These guys were complete idiots and deserved every bit of misfortune they got.
