People have seen them... it's a fairly regular occurrence.

I think the concern is that it was spotted in Rowlett. With the concentration of liquor stores authorities are worried that they may end up with a drunk cougar.

Bingo! They love Wild Turkey and that is what draws them to the dense population of liquor stores in Rowlett. 18 within a 5 mile radius, all full of Wild Turkey. Once the Wolves find out about it, we will have them here as well.

According to next door there are about 25-30 of them running around Cedar Creek Lake what with all the disappearing fur babies. Kings Creek Golf Course seems to be hotspot with one chasing deer around,

Rockwall is not in Dallas County. Rowlett is in Dallas County, which is where this sighting is supposed to be.

No way a drunk cougar stays in Rowlett. I moved on to Rockwall.

Not to split hairs or pick a nit, but not all of Rowlett is in Dallas County, a portion along the lake is in Rockwall County. This lion was supposedly sighted near Miller and Dalrock. Depends on which side of Dalrock. On the east side of Dalrock is Rockwall County. The west side of Dalrock is Clay Jerkface's kingdom.

How do you like getting schooled by Bob Davis, BThomas?

Geography. It’s not just for geeks any more.

davedave should go by dickdick... No schooling from Bob.

The video used by the news station was captured by a Rowlett resident living on the West side of Dalrock. So, that makes it Dallas County.
I use to live in Rowdy Rowlett off of Dalrock in Rockwall County. Dalrock rd was named because it boarded two Counties Dallas and Rockwall. Hence, DalRock
